About the event
Aromatherapy is a branch of Spagyric Medicine that uses essential oils, macerations and quintessences, that is, volatile and strongly odorous substances of plants and flowers. The oils are extracted in various ways according to the ancient procedures of Spagyric Medicine and can be of important support in the treatment of a series of pathologies and in general in the rebalancing of the body and mind.
Contrary to popular belief, the term aromatherapy in Spagyric Medicine does not exclusively identify the olfactory use of preparations, but includes all applications: topical (massages, compresses, pure applications), inhalation and oral. Unlike what happens in Europe, in the East (and therefore in Spagyric Medicine and Chinese Medicine) aromatherapy has a millenary tradition with a corpus of canonical texts, recognized methods, standardized study curricula, etc., and the materials used by the therapy and some of the methods of use have been subjected to clinical and pharmacological studies.
A very interesting course that will also provide students with the preparations to use for the various therapies.
