Intensive Retreat of Transcendental Hesychasm and Initiation

Transcendental Hesychasm is the mystical priatic par excellence of Eastern Christianity and is divided into: Meditation, Contemplation and Self-healing.

It is considered an antidote to the harms of excessive attachment and craving. Its realizations can lead to enlightenment in this very lifetime.

Withdrawal Instructions

To do the retreat, it is first necessary to pronounce the three vows. The three vows are taken in the morning and maintained for 24 hours. This practice has a great power of purification. The three vows are:

• Be silent

• Respect all living beings (do not eat meat or fish)

• Pronounce the name of God at least 1000 times.

The three-day retreat consists of three daily sessions. At each session the practice of the Great Schema will be recited and then the Ekené (mantras) individually. The retreat is considered complete when each participant has recited 3,000 Ekené.

For those who complete three days of practice and surpass 3,000 Ekené, initiation and consecration are offered.

11.00 -12.30: Divine Liturgy

The Practice of Transcendental Hesychasm is precious and priceless.

So, in accordance with tradition, this activity is a free offering according to the possibilities and choice of each person.

By signing up you will choose how much you can and want to give for the restoration of our Monastery, for our animals and for our survival.

PLEASE READ the rules before signing up:

- Talking is not allowed.

- Smoking is not permitted inside or outside the Monastery. To smoke, you must go to the public road.

- Cell phones cannot be brought inside the Monastery. They must be left in the car or given to the concierge. Their use is permitted outside only.

- Drinking alcohol and using drugs is not permitted in your room or in any other area of the Monastery.

- Animals are not allowed because the Monastery is inhabited by many other animals!

- Children are welcome on day visits but cannot stay in the Monastery due to the absolute silence that must be respected at all times.
