Introduction to Practical Psychology

Topics covered in the subject of Practical Psychology

(18 hours in the second year)

The Course presents, in a general way, an in-depth overview of the basic tools and techniques essential for working with the naturopath's advice in different contexts, both work and private life, in which it is necessary to resort to the art of relating with others.

We speak of the artistic or humanistic dimension of the discipline because the communicative and relational tools and techniques at its disposal (Empathy, Acceptance, Active Listening, Communication, etc.) are of fundamental importance in all the fundamental dimensions of human relationships.

The aim will then be to learn to develop the potential resources of oneself and of the people who require our intervention, through the acquisition of new awareness in order to implement positive changes and a general improvement in the management of the critical aspects of one's life.

The course includes both a theoretical part containing the main techniques and tools of counseling, and a practical and experiential part with exercises aimed at making the teachings learned concrete and operational.

The course is aimed at all those who place the quality of human and interpersonal relationships at the center of their professional and existential interests, and intend to improve their communication and relational skills.
