Self-healing
Topics covered in the subject of Self-Healing
(18 hours in the second year)
It is one of the theoretical-practical methods that only we have in Italy.
Self-healing is a system given to us by the great Christian saints of India and Egypt (called Hesychasts) and is a system consisting of various physical and mental movements called Internal Practices. The creator of this system of movements is Edvagrius Ponticus, of Yeshua Meditation and of Hesychasm.
When we do sports or any intense physical activity we feel the need to rest because these “external exercises” use the body's energy without regenerating it.
To rebalance and replace the loss of energy caused by daily life, internal practice is essential, which heals and invigorates the internal organs, fundamental elements for maintaining health and obtaining immunity against diseases and achieving true physical and mental health.
The course, after an initial theoretical part dedicated to Hesychasm and the Theory of the Seven Energies, circulation, the seven glands and nerves, explains in detail and practically the three categories of Internal Practices:
PLAN
The practices designed to assume a correct posture when sitting, reclining, walking or working, in order to facilitate the healing process (Five Animal Exercises, the Eight Directional Exercises, the Twelve Zodiac Exercises, the Twelve Nerve Exercises and the basic exercises known as the Deer Exercise, the Crane Exercise and the Tortoise Exercise).
Yeshua Meditation and its positions serve to adjust, balance and raise the energy level in the body.
